Sharing Some Thoughts

I really have had nothing exciting going on, so instead I decided I would blog about a few of my favorite things, (baby things really)!

1. I love visiting my friend karen's website http://www.karenstips.blogspot.com/ She seems to know a lot about everything so I go to her for advice when it comes to baby stuff. She always has information on the latest and greatest in baby items and mommy items too!!
2. Snap N Go Stroller, by Baby Trend. Again, Karen told me about this, and I LOVE it! They have one specifically for a Graco car seat as well, but mine is a Chicco so this brand worked for me, and it is $10 cheaper What I love about it is that it is just a frame that you put your infant carseat in, and it is so light weight and easy to manuever.

3. Tunno Tots- a new baby line at Target that has adorable bibs, binky clips, and hair clips too
4.Nursing Covers- you can find that at baby boutiques, but Geoff's cousin-in-law Shelly makes and sells them and I love hers. The quality of the fabric is what I like most, and I love the modern prints! She sells them on KSL.com/classifieds for $20. I would be lost without this baby essential, how do mothers do with just a blanket?5. Bundle Me Light- infant car seat blanket by JJ Cole. I really don't know what to call it, but it is kind of like a sleeping bag that fits right into your baby's car seat and zips up. I have loved it this winter and I recommend anyone living in a cold climate to use this. I have it in silver/grey

6. My Hair Stylist- I go to Visions Salon in Sandy (there is one in Draper too). My stylist, or hair professional is Christy and I love her, and she is reasonably priced. If anyone needs a new place to get your hair done, she is the one to see! (ok, so this wasn't baby related but I wanted to throw it in). I love the color line she uses.

7. Pureology Shampoo- Again, not for baby, but I think this is the best shampoo/conditioner you can find. It makes your head feel tingly, and keeps the color in your hair longer. If you want to go a little cheaper, I also like Matrix Biolage
8. Fisher Price Jumparoo- Paityn loves this and I think it is pretty cute
9. Fisher Price Papasan Swing- this is my favorite swing. I have another FP one at the home where I nanny and I like this one best. It can be used for boy or girl, it has a large seat area, and it is neutral in color. 10. Ticket to Ride- This is the best board game ever invented. We were introduced to it by some friends and we have now got Geoff's entire family hooked. We purchased the U.S version, and there are also Europe, Switzerland, Germany, and other versions. It is a strategy game, and can only be purchased at those scary Dungeon and Dragon type game stores, but it is a lot of fun!

Have you played ticket to ride online? Got to daysofwonder.com but beware it is addiciting because they do all the point adding for you! I'll tell you the Jumperoo sure has come a long way since Kali used it. All she had on hers were 2 little toys on the front. Now you get a whole jungle!

I believe that I had my kids too soon, I would have loved some of that stuff that you new moms have now. I am going to look for that game, my grandkids love different kind of games.

I don't know how old your grandkids are, but it is an adult game, at least teenager and older I would say!

I am flattered that I made it on the post! I am glad you like my blog (and comment on it too). My bro and his wife are in love with Ticket to Ride, but I haven't played it yet. We should get together sometime and you can teach us!

My grandkids are 14 and 2 11 year olds. They are very good with games and probably would love any game with a challenge. I should say if I could get them away from that guitar game they play on x-box. Ha Ha sound familiar. They also are hooked on wii.

thanks for the recommendations - especially the baby items. My cousin just had a baby girl and although I got her a baby shower present and nice to have more ideas so when I visit them I can bring something else.

Any other items for the baby or Mom you can think of that is a must have please post.
