Disney World

CUTEST EVER... ENOUGH SAID!

We had an amazing time going to DisneyWorld with the Osmond clan this past week. The weather was warm, sometimes too warm, the company of family was great, and the experience was one we will always remember.
A few highlights:
-5 days of non-stop park hopping adventures...and it was all free!! (thanks Children's Miracle Network and Disney)
-Per Diem...we ate free, shopped free, slept free, played free and came home with tons of money to spare!
-Throwing up ALL over on mommy and daddy, in the airplane on the flight home (ok, maybe a lowlight!)
- The fear of rollercoasters, I did Tower of Terror, holding onto Geoff for dear life, and closing my eyes. I will NEVER ride that again. Also, Rockin' Rollercoaster. I wanted to get off the ride before even going when I saw the car in front of ours take off, but I did keep my eyes open. That is the fastest coaster I have ever been on, I think 0-60 in 2.3 seconds or something!! (and I went twice!)
-Geoff being an extra in the Indiana Jones Show at Hollywood Studios( formerly MGM). He did an amazing job, I think we should enroll him in acting classes!!
-Taking Paityn swimming for her very first time, Geoff didn't want to get in, so he just did a photo shoot of his beautiful girls!
-A conversation between Ali and I while waiting in line for the Finding Nemo ride:
Joy: It's kinda like your a fish and I am a dolphin since you are smaller than me!"
Ali: Well, then you should be a whale if I am a fish!!"
-Buying Paityn souvenirs: Baby Minnie Mouse stuffed animal, Princess Dress, Princess Bib, Winnie the Pooh Book, and her first pair of mickie ears, with her name embroidered on the back!
- Meeting Glen Beck during the CMN awards. It was a LONG, and boring award show, but having a baby gave us the chance to escape when she needed attention and we were able to go directly back stage to a private room, and on the way all of the stars were back there, so we got to say hello. These included, Glen Beck, Miss America, A singer from Lonestar, either Big or Rich, can't remember...and a few others!
-I guess the reason we were all invited, and paid to be there is so that we would attend the three shows Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights...and be on stage for the end of the friday night show.
I think that pretty much sums it up. We had so much fun, and can't believe we were able to have this experience with all of Geoff's family, including cousins and Osmond Uncles/Aunts!
I am going to post a slide show of our hundreds of pictures...but that may take me a while, so check back soon!

I can't begin to tell you how jealous I am! Sounds like so much fun! Why did you guys get to go? How nice to have it all paid for. Makes a trip much less stressful. Glad your back, can't wait to see pics!

That is the best picture. You should mass produce that and send it to everyone! I'm glad you had fun. We need to get together again soon so the girls can get to know each other and this time Taylor will be awake!

That sounds like an awesome vacation, sun, family, disney gifts, and all free!!! I am glad to hear you had a great time. It sounds like a trip of a life time, with all that family in one place. Now you can rest up, when you get home. I can't wait for pics. your daughter pic is adorable with those cute MM ears.

sounds like you had a really fun time. I've been to MGM Studios quite a few times, but I don't
go on tower of terror or the roller coaster - when I was younger I could but I guess I've gotten too old..

Hope you took lots of pictures (the one you posted was adorable). The joys of parenthood (and babysitters) dealing with sick kids - oh well - sounds like you were very busy but hope you were able to spend time with your family -that's always the best part.
