Paityn and I came to California to visit Grandma and Grandpa Fowler, along with other family and friends for a few days. The flight went semi-well. Thanks to my friend for giving me a few travel pointers, we had a whole row to ourselves so Paityn got to stay in her car seat for the most part. The only bad part was landing, even though I fed her through it, she was in misery and I felt so sorry for her. I had never heard that painful scream before, and I never want to hear it again. She finally stopped crying, and was a happy baby again. Grandpa picked us up and we enjoyed the night with the family.
Today is day 2 and we wish Daddy could have come with us, although he would have been so bored just sitting around. It is weird that I now call my husband, daddy, rather than by his name. Oh well, either way, you know who I am talking about!
So far, we have spent time with my parents, my grandma Beverly, my uncle Chuck, my brothers, Adam and Paul (and his girlfriend Asil), and today Paityn got to meet one of my very best friends, Theresa! We have pretty much just been relaxing, seeing that I am a bit under the weather with a sore throat and earache, but it was so fun to hang out with Theresa today. We went to a late lunch at BJ's Pizza in Brea to chat and eat yummy food, including my favorite: the Pazooki (its a cookie baked like a pizza then topped with ice cream, yum), and then to the Brea Mall to shop, and oh how we love to shop!
Tomorrow we have plans with my best friend Danielle, and we are very excited.
We are definitely having fun, Grandpa has already spoiled Paityn with a Bounce, jumper toy that she can stand in, and she loves it! The only thing that would make this trip even more fun is if we had Daddy and Milo here with us (we miss you guys)!
P.S. Paityn loves my brother Paul, he was having fun playing with her, and she was blowing bubbles for him!
She also has figured out her tongue, and can't keep it in her mouth these days, so cute!

Isn't it nice when family and friends are still close enough to visit even if it's a plane ride away unlike living across the country or ocean away.
Hopefully you have warmer weather where you are visiting - I just came back from visiting out West and I enjoyed the warmer weather then the cold East Coast weather
I always sympathize with parents on planes with crying or screaming kids - I know it's nothing they can control and the parents are doing everything they can. Hopefully you had sympathetic people on your plane too.
Adorable pictures of your daughter too.
