Hooray for Oatmeal

As we tried to get Paityn on solids a few weeks ago, it didn't go so well. She didn't seem interested at all, and just wanted to get out of the bumbo chair. Perhaps it was the rice cereal. Maybe she is just beginning to be picky at an early age. I thought I would wait until she was 6 months old to try again, but going to the doctor again last week, he said I should try again...so today was the day. My friend Heather told me to try oatmeal, since it is also a single grain cereal. I had not thought of that before. Well, thank you to Heather because Paityn couldn't get enough of it. I made about a TBSP. full at first, she gobbled it right up, so I made another TBSP., again being quickly devoured, and then I made a final tablespoon. Even at that point she still wanted more, but I figured I better call it quits in case she were to spit it up. As of right now, two hours later, she has not spit it up, and I am planning on trying to give her another bowl full tonight before her bedtime. Hooray for Oatmeal, and Heather for the advice!
